We are currently seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Maintenance Technician for our manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining and improving our production and office environment. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems and processes.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
2. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
3. Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines.
4. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
5. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
6. Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
7. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
8. Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
9. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
License/Certification:
Maintenance Electrician’s License or higher (Preferred)
LOTO certification (Preferred) (Actively practiced)
NFPA 70e (arc flash) certification (Preferred) (Actively practiced)
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as a maintenance technician with at least 2+ years in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
2. High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology, or relevant field will be a plus.
3. Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
4. Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices.
5. Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
6. Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime.
7. Excellent understanding of manufacturing methods and procedures.
8. Strong electrical and mechanical skills are essential.
9. Proven experience in preventive maintenance programs.
10. Ability to read and understand technical manuals and blueprints.
11. Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to detect faults, repair parts, and equipment efficiently.
12. Must possess a strong safety track record and commitment to proactive safety measures.
