Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:

1. Conducting regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and fix faults before they escalate into bigger issues.
2. Performing routine maintenance work on machinery and mechanical equipment.
3. Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning equipment and systems.
4. Reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
5. Documenting processes and maintaining equipment logs accurately.
6. Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
7. Assisting in the development of maintenance procedures and ensuring implementation.
8. Participating in educational opportunities and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements.
9. Coordinating with the team to implement innovative solutions for improved productivity.
10. Assisting in budget preparation and ensuring cost-effectiveness in all maintenance processes.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician or a similar role in the engineering industry.
2. A degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
3. Proven experience in conducting routine maintenance and troubleshooting various types of machinery and equipment.
4. Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and heating systems.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Proficiency in using various tools and equipment for maintenance and repair.
8. Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals.
