Maintenance Technician

A substance use and mental health facility, is currently seeking maintenance staff for its two Dallas locations.

Job duties will include, but are not limited to

• Perform scheduled maintenance on equipment.
• Repair or supervise repair of damaged or non-functional equipment in a timely manner.
• Ensure maintenance request logs are checked daily and repairs are made.
• Ensure the grounds and building are maintained by being clean, neat, and free of physical hazards.
• Ensure all client-used furniture is checked weekly for any defects or damages.
• Maintain inventory records on tools and supplies used for maintenance.
• Ensure all tools meet or exceed safety requirements, are stored properly, and request replacement for anything broken or damaged.
• Maintain a list of needed maintenance supplies.
• Ensure the buildings' plumbing and electrical systems are maintained.
• Ensure all lights and fixtures are working and have appropriate coverings.
• Ensure the physical plant meets or exceeds safety codes.
• Monitor volunteers assigned to maintenance.
• Check and replace light bulbs.
• Keep building painted and in good repair.
