Maintenance Technician - Stamping

DUTIES:

• Manage and perform a preventive maintenance program on all stamping and pressroom equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical problems and determine how to correct them
• Disassemble, repair, replace and reassemble stamping presses and machinery according to equipment drawings and electrical diagrams
• Fabricate new parts and alter existing parts
• Record maintenance and repair work performed
• Inspect, operate and test machinery to ensure safe operation according to OSHA standards
• Install new mechanical equipment

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical equipment is a must
• Extensive knowledge of tools, materials and best practices involved with equipment maintenance
• Experience working with stamping presses and feed units a plus
• Electrical experience a must / certification a plus
• Self motivated, detail oriented and well organized
