Job Details:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This is a permanent position, offering the opportunity to utilize and further develop your skills in predictive and preventative maintenance, welding, electrical, mechanical and food production. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in the manufacturing industry. You will be responsible for overseeing all installation, repair, and upkeep operations of our company’s facilities.

Responsibilities:

1. Plan, coordinate, and supervise all maintenance activities, ensuring the smooth functioning of our manufacturing equipment and systems.
2. Implement predictive and preventative maintenance measures to avoid any breakdowns or malfunctions that could disrupt production.
3. Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance.
4. Perform hands-on work including welding, electrical, and mechanical repairs as needed.
5. Develop and oversee a robust maintenance schedule while coordinating with other departments to minimize production interruptions.
6. Ensure all machinery and equipment are compliant with health and safety regulations.
7. Train and mentor maintenance staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
8. Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work.
9. Recruit, supervise and train maintenance technicians.
10. Contribute to the development and implementation of systems to improve process efficiency and reduce the operation cost.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Supervisor in the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience in predictive and preventative maintenance, welding, electrical, mechanical, and food production.
3. Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, including electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems.
4. Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications and schematics.
5. Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
7. A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related field is preferred.
8. Certification in maintenance management and understanding of regulatory compliance guidelines would be advantageous.
