Maintenance Technician - Experienced Tech (NW Milwaukee)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to undertake machine repairs and routine plant maintenance, ensuring continuous production efficiency. This role demands technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a hands-on approach to machinery operation and maintenance.

Work Hours: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and resolve machine malfunctions and operational issues, conducting inspections and repairs to maintain machinery uptime.
Rebuild and overhaul machines, selecting appropriate replacement parts, and executing precision machining tasks.
Contribute to the installation and relocation of machine tools, collaborating with project teams as needed.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to housekeeping standards.
Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent; journeyman apprenticeship in machine repair is advantageous.
3-5 years of experience in machine operations with a strong understanding of machining technology, mechanical principles, and electrical codes.
Proficient in advanced shop mathematics, job layout, precision measuring, and tooling applications.
Physical ability to lift at least 50 pounds and manage heavier objects with lifting equipment.
