Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Manager to join our team. The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of maintenance activities within our manufacturing facility to ensure uninterrupted production and optimal equipment performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance management, preferably within the food and beverage industry, and possess excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.

Job responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance programs to ensure the reliability and efficiency of production equipment, including preventive maintenance schedules, predictive maintenance techniques, and spare parts management.
• Lead and grow a team of maintenance technicians and a supervisor, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure compliance with safety standards and adherence to maintenance best practices.
• Coordinate with production and engineering teams to schedule maintenance activities, minimize downtime, and optimize equipment performance.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives through the implementation of innovative maintenance strategies and technologies.
• Establish and maintain relationships with equipment suppliers and service providers to ensure timely and efficient resolution of maintenance issues.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to equipment reliability, maintenance costs, and downtime, and develop action plans to address areas of concern.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including food safety and environmental regulations, by implementing appropriate maintenance procedures and documentation.
• Participate in the development of capital expenditure plans and budgeting processes related to maintenance activities, and oversee the execution of approved projects within established timelines and budgets.
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement within the maintenance team, promoting teamwork and collaboration across departments.
• Stay current with industry trends and developments in maintenance technologies, attending training sessions and conferences as needed to enhance knowledge and skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in the food and beverage industry, with a strong understanding of aseptic manufacturing processes.
• Proven leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and develop a team of maintenance professionals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues and implement effective solutions.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to maintenance activities, including OSHA, FDA, and environmental regulations.
• Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office suite.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to maintenance emergencies outside of regular business hours, as needed.
