We are searching for a dynamic and dedicated Permanent Maintenance Manager to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This role is essential to ensure the smooth and efficient running of our production facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the maintenance department, including overseeing the maintenance of all manufacturing equipment and systems, implementing preventive maintenance programs, and managing maintenance personnel. This role requires a solid understanding of electrical systems, corrugated packaging, preventive maintenance, and mechanical systems.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage all maintenance operations in our manufacturing facilities, ensuring machinery, equipment, and systems are functioning optimally.
2. Develop and implement a robust preventive maintenance program to minimize downtime and ensure the longevity of all equipment and systems.
3. Manage the maintenance of our corrugated packaging machinery, ensuring all equipment is operating at peak performance.
4. Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical faults.
5. Lead, manage, and develop the maintenance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
6. Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement improvements in processes and production.
7. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations and company policies.
8. Manage maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and the achievement of operational targets.
9. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality parts and services.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a maintenance management role in the manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience in managing electrical systems, corrugated packaging, preventive maintenance, and mechanical systems.
4. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
6. Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and industry best practices.
7. Excellent budget management skills, with the ability to optimize resources and achieve operational targets.
8. Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other departments and stakeholders.
9. Proficiency in using maintenance management software and other relevant computer applications.
