We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team! This is a permanent, full-time role that requires a hands-on manager familiar with production manufacturing expertise. You will be in charge of maintaining our company's machinery and equipment, ensuring that they are always in optimal working condition to support our operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance, electrical and mechanical maintenance, and preventive maintenance, as well as experience managing a team of 10+.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the installation, repair, and upkeep of the company's manufacturing equipment, buildings, and systems.
  • Implement and manage a robust preventive maintenance program to minimize downtime.
  • Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation.
  • Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues.
  • Plan and manage all repair and installation activities.
  • Manage the maintenance team and ensure they have the necessary training and skills to perform their duties effectively.
  • Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary.
  • Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance.
  • Manage relationships with contractors and service providers.
  • Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities.
  • Ensure health and safety policies are complied with.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or Maintenance Supervisor in the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience in planning maintenance operations.
  • Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems, etc.
  • Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment.
  • Ability to keep track of and report on activity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Degree from a vocational school or BSc/BA in business administration or facility management will be an advantage.
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proven experience in managing a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Proficient in MS Office and maintenance management software.
