Maintenance Manager

Our rapidly growing manufacturing company is seeking a Permanent Maintenance Manager to join our dynamic team. This individual will be responsible for managing all aspects of the maintenance department, ensuring the smooth operation of our production machinery and equipment. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to apply their skills in a fast-paced, innovative environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance, electromechanical troubleshooting, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), management, and Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) software. This position requires a minimum of three years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage the maintenance department to ensure all machinery and equipment are functioning optimally.
2. Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
3. Use CMMS software to track and manage all maintenance activities.
4. Troubleshoot and repair complex machinery and equipment issues.
5. Manage and program PLCs as required for efficient machine operation.
6. Develop budgets for the maintenance department and ensure all activities are within budget.
7. Train and mentor maintenance staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
8. Collaborate with other departments to ensure maintenance activities do not interrupt production.
9. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to implement in our maintenance procedures.
10. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's or associates degree in Engineering, or related field preferred.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance management.
3. Proven experience with troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery and equipment.
4. Proficiency in PLC programming and management.
5. Experience with CMMS software.
6. Strong leadership and team management skills.
7. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
8. Sound knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in the manufacturing industry.
9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
10. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
