Job Details:
We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and hands-on Permanent Maintenance Manager to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This high-profile role will be responsible for managing all aspects of the maintenance department, ensuring the optimal functioning of our equipment and facilities. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background and a proven track record in equipment maintenance, preventive maintenance, facility management, team leadership, and continuous improvement. This role requires a deep understanding of PLC programming, electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, along with a passion for process improvement.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and coordinate all maintenance activities and operations to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness of machines, equipment, and employees.
2. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability and minimize breakdowns.
3. Manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
4. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing maintenance team, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
5. Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
6. Collaborate with other departments to identify and prioritize maintenance needs and plan for future capacity requirements.
7. Regularly inspect facilities to identify issues, plan repairs, and coordinate with contractors when necessary.
8. Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
9. Troubleshoot complex problems with equipment and machinery, utilizing expertise in PLC programming, electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
10. Prepare and present technical reports, analyzing maintenance data to guide decision-making and strategy development.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a maintenance management role within the manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience with equipment maintenance, preventive maintenance, facility management, team leadership, and continuous improvement.
4. Strong technical knowledge of PLC programming, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and mechanical systems.
5. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on process improvement.
7. Proficiency in using maintenance management software and interpreting technical diagrams and blueprints.
8. Strong understanding of safety and environmental regulations in the manufacturing industry.
9. Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
10. Willingness to be on call for emergencies or to address specific needs.
