Maintenance Manager

Job Details:

We are currently seeking an experienced Permanent Maintenance Manager to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations in our organization, ensuring that all machinery and equipment are fully operational, safe, and efficient. This role is critical to our operations and requires a professional with a strong understanding of industrial maintenance, including cement manufacturing, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, and electrical troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have at least 3+ years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the maintenance department, ensuring all machinery and equipment are in optimal working condition.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures and schedules to minimize downtime and enhance operational efficiency.
• Manage all aspects of the maintenance budget, including procurement of parts and services, labor costs, and overall spending.
• Coordinate with production team to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to production schedules.
• Lead, motivate, and develop the maintenance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety.
• Troubleshoot complex machinery issues, utilizing knowledge of cement, hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLC.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
• Liaise with vendors, contractors, and suppliers as necessary.
• Regularly report on maintenance operations and activities to senior management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance management in a manufacturing setting.
• Proven experience with cement, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC, and maintenance management.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a hands-on attitude.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Familiarity with industry-standard health and safety regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using maintenance management software.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work under pressure.
• Willingness to be on call for emergencies or to work overtime as necessary.
