Maintenance Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Maintenance Manager to join our thriving manufacturing team. This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes by ensuring all equipment and machinery are well-maintained and functioning optimally. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with a strong background in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, PLCs, and manufacturing maintenance management.

Responsibilities:

As a Maintenance Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing the maintenance and repair of all machinery and equipment within the manufacturing facility.
2. Developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and increase operational efficiency.
3. Troubleshooting and resolving complex mechanical and electrical issues in a timely and cost-effective manner.
4. Working closely with production teams to ensure machinery and equipment are operating at peak performance levels.
5. Managing the maintenance budget and ensuring all maintenance activities are conducted within established financial parameters.
6. Training and mentoring maintenance staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
7. Ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental regulations, maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
8. Collaborating with other departments to identify and implement process improvements.
9. Regularly reviewing and updating maintenance policies and procedures to reflect best practices.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Permanent Maintenance Manager role, you must possess the following:

1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a maintenance management role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
3. Proficiency in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
4. Strong knowledge of manufacturing maintenance management.
5. A degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field is preferred.
6. Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
7. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels.
9. A commitment to maintaining high safety standards and promoting a culture of respect and integrity within the workplace.
10. Proficiency in using maintenance management software and other relevant computer applications.
