Responsibilities:
As a Maintenance Electrician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our electrical systems. Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Performing routine maintenance on AC/DC drives, AC motors, and 3-phase motors.
2. Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of mobile equipment and conveyor systems.
3. Carrying out electrical troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve electrical issues in a timely manner.
4. Adhering to OSHA and NEC regulations to ensure electrical safety at all times.
5. Working in a die casting and manufacturing environment, maintaining and repairing equipment as needed.
6. Assisting with the installation and maintenance of pneumatic systems.
7. Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and suggesting ways to enhance electrical efficiency and safety.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Electrician in a similar industry.
2. Proficiency in working with AC/DC drives and motors, 3-phase motors, and mobile equipment.
3. Experience in a die casting and manufacturing environment.
4. Strong knowledge of OSHA and NEC regulations and a commitment to maintaining high standards of electrical safety.
5. Excellent electrical troubleshooting skills.
6. Familiarity with conveyor systems and pneumatic systems.
7. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex electrical concepts in simple terms.
9. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong desire to continuously learn and develop your skills.
