Job Details:
We are currently seeking a 2nd Shift Permanent Maintenance Electrician to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. This role is pivotal in maintaining the smooth operation of our manufacturing plant. You will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical equipment and machinery are running at optimal efficiency. Responsibilities:
As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be tasked with:

1. Performing regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
2. Diagnosing malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
3. Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
4. Inspecting motors and switches, repairing or replacing as necessary.
5. Troubleshooting electrical problems with a variety of testing devices.
6. Programming and troubleshooting PLCs to optimize machine performance.
7. Reading and interpreting electrical and electronic schematics, blueprints, and diagrams.
8. Assisting in the development of maintenance procedures and ensure implementation.
9. Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to increase performance of the plant.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Maintenance Electrician - 2nd Shift role will have:

1. A minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a maintenance electrician in a manufacturing setting.
2. In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipment.
3. Ability to read and interpret electrical and electronic schematics, blueprints, and diagrams.
4. Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical problems with a variety of testing devices.
5. Experience in programming and troubleshooting PLCs.
6. Proven experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
7. Knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
8. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
9. Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime if needed.
10. A valid electrician license or certification would be a plus.
