We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Machine Operator to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of machines and equipment, providing technical expertise and ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in centerless grinding, CNC machine operation, machine setup, preventive maintenance, precision measurement, material handling, production line operation, and hand tools operation. This role requires a minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
1. Operate a variety of machines and tools including centerless grinders, CNC machines, and hand tools to meet production requirements.
2. Set up machines according to specifications and blueprints and ensure they are in good working order.
3. Conduct regular preventive maintenance checks to identify any potential issues and minimize machine downtime.
4. Use precision measurement tools to inspect and verify the quality of parts and components.
5. Handle various materials safely and efficiently, ensuring they are correctly positioned and secured in machines.
6. Monitor production line operations to ensure they meet production and quality standards.
7. Provide technical expertise and advice to the production team, helping to troubleshoot any issues and improve operational efficiency.
8. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
9. Train and mentor junior staff, sharing your knowledge and expertise to enhance team performance.
Qualifications
1. High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational certification in a related field is preferred.
2. Minimum of 3+ years of experience in machine operation, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience with centerless grinding, CNC machine operation, machine setup, preventive maintenance, precision measurement, material handling, production line operation, and hand tools operation.
4. Strong technical and mechanical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
5. Ability to interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team.
8. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
9. Commitment to adhering to all safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
