As a Machine Operator, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Operating and maintaining machinery, ensuring optimal performance and production.
2. Reading and interpreting blueprints and diagrams to ensure products are manufactured to exact specifications.
3. Conducting regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify any issues and perform necessary repairs or adjustments.
4. Monitoring the production process to ensure products are produced in accordance with company standards and quality controls.
5. Identifying and resolving any issues or malfunctions that may occur during the production process.
6. Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
7. Collaborating with the team and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
8. Using computer systems to input data and track inventory.
9. Assisting in the training of new machine operators.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A minimum of 2 years' experience in machine operation, preferably in the technology industry.
2. Proven experience with plastic forming processes and machinery.
3. Excellent technical skills, including the ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams.
4. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues and malfunctions.
5. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with a team.
6. Strong attention to detail, ensuring products are produced to exact specifications.
7. Proficiency in using computer systems to input data and track inventory.
8. A commitment to adhering to all safety regulations and procedures.
9. A high school diploma or equivalent. A certificate or diploma in a related field would be an asset.
