We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Logistics & Warehouse Manager to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This position requires a highly organized individual with a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing all aspects of shipping and receiving, warehouse management, and logistics operations. The successful candidate will be tasked with overseeing our warehouse operations, managing carrier relationships, developing KPIs, and implementing strategies to improve efficiency and productivity.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all logistics operations including shipping and receiving, warehouse management, and
inventory control.
  • Develop and maintain strong carrier relationships to ensure efficient and effective transportation of goods.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure operational efficiency and
effectiveness.
  • Utilize ERP and WMS systems to manage warehouse operations, track inventory, and streamline logistics
processes.
  • Manage materials to ensure timely and accurate inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Oversee inventory management processes, including regular stock checks and audits, to maintain optimal
inventory levels and minimize stock discrepancies.
  • Coordinate and manage OTR shipments, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with regulations and
company policies.
  • Identify and implement strategies to improve productivity, efficiency, and overall logistics operations.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of logistics operations with overall company
objectives and goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a logistics and warehouse management role, preferably in the
manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics operations including shipping and receiving, warehouse management, and
inventory control.
  • Proven experience in managing carrier relationships and coordinating inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Experience in KPI development and implementation to measure and improve operational efficiency.
  • Proficiency in using ERP and WMS systems for managing warehouse operations and inventory.
  • Experience in materials management and OTR shipments.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve
operational goals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement solutions to logistics challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with carriers,
suppliers, and team members.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations in the logistics and warehouse industry.
