Locum Tenens Urology position
Weekend call coverage & clinic days 8am-5pm - Starting in 2024

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive urological care, including diagnosing and treating kidney stones, urinary incontinence, and other urological disorders.
• Perform various surgical procedures to treat urological conditions, including minimally invasive surgery and robotic-assisted surgery.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for patients.
• Participate in patient consultations, explaining diagnoses and treatment options in a clear, empathetic manner.
• Maintain up-to-date, accurate, and thorough patient records, including medical histories, examinations, treatment plans, and outcomes.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments, trends, and research in urology to ensure the provision of the highest quality of care.
• Participate in continuous professional development activities, including attending conferences, workshops, and seminars, to enhance knowledge and skills.

Qualifications:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution and successful completion of a urology residency program.
• A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Urologist, with a strong background in treating kidney stones, urinary incontinence, and other urological disorders.
• Board certification in Urology.
• Exceptional surgical skills, with experience in minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgery.
• Excellent diagnostic skills, with the ability to make accurate decisions under pressure.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex medical information to patients in a clear, empathetic manner.
• Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying abreast of the latest developments in urology.
• Current, valid license to practice medicine.
