Are you a passionate and dedicated Neonatologist looking for an exciting opportunity? We are currently seeking a highly skilled Permanent Locum Neonatologist to join our dynamic medical team. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality care and contribute to the growth and development of our neonatology department. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating newborns with conditions such as breathing disorders, infections, and birth defects. This role requires a high level of expertise in neonatal care, a deep understanding of neonatology, and a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive care for newborns, including diagnosis and treatment of neonatal conditions.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care, including pediatricians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Conduct regular patient rounds, assess patient health, and develop appropriate treatment plans.
  • Perform procedures such as intubations, umbilical line placements, and lumbar punctures.
  • Participate in patient consultations and family meetings to discuss treatment options and patient progress.
  • Contribute to research efforts within the department, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in neonatology.
  • Participate in the training and mentoring of medical students and residents, sharing knowledge and expertise.
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.

Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Completed a 3-year residency in pediatrics, followed by a 3-year fellowship in neonatology.
  • Board certification in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Neonatologist.
  • Excellent diagnostic and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of the latest medical advancements and technologies in neonatology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and medical team members.
  • Strong commitment to patient care and a passion for improving the health of newborns.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging, and stressful environment, while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Willingness to participate in continuous education and training programs.
  • Current and valid medical license.
