Responsibilities:

1. Handle all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, conducting legal research, and preparing motions.
2. Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and mediations.
3. Conduct thorough investigations to gather evidence and build strong cases for our clients.
4. Collaborate with internal teams and external parties, such as experts and witnesses, to develop effective legal strategies.
5. Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on litigation matters, ensuring their best interests are protected.
6. Prepare and review legal documents, such as contracts, agreements, and settlement offers.
7. Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents to ensure compliance and provide accurate legal advice.
8. Assist in managing and prioritizing a caseload, ensuring deadlines are met and cases are handled efficiently.
9. Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and seminars to enhance professional knowledge and network with peers.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
3. Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Litigation Attorney, preferably in Insurance Defense Litigation or civil litigation.
4. Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures, rules of evidence, and legal principles.
5. Proven track record of successfully handling a wide range of litigation cases.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present arguments in court.
7. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess complex legal issues and develop innovative solutions.
8. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet deadlines.
9. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
10. Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
