Litigation Attorney

Our firm is seeking a dynamic, experienced Litigation Attorney to join our team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience in the legal industry, specializing in insurance defense, Maryland Bar Admission, and premises liability defense. This role will provide the right candidate with an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of high-profile cases, collaborating with a team of dedicated professionals to deliver exceptional service to our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in court proceedings, presenting evidence and arguments to best support the client's position.
• Draft and review various legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Conduct extensive legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
• Provide advice and counsel to clients regarding their legal rights and obligations.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in an effort to resolve disputes outside of court.

Qualifications:

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Maryland Bar.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in litigation, specifically within the scope of insurance defense and premises liability defense.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex cases from inception through trial.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present arguments and negotiate settlements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions.
