Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Litigation Attorney specializing in Insurance Defense. This is an excellent opportunity to join a prestigious law firm that values growth, development, and a collaborative work environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling all aspects of insurance defense litigation from inception to resolution. This role requires a deep understanding of insurance defense litigation, bad faith, personal injury, and federal laws. The candidate must have a proven track record in the courtroom and trail experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Handle a high volume of complex insurance defense cases from start to finish.
2. Develop and implement litigation strategies, conduct legal research, and draft legal documents.
3. Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in insurance litigation.
4. Provide legal advice concerning insurance laws, regulations, and policies.
5. Manage all aspects of litigation, including depositions, mediations, arbitrations, trials, and appeals.
6. Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in an attempt to avoid court proceedings.
7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state insurance laws and regulations.
8. Collaborate with team members to develop effective strategies and achieve successful outcomes for clients.
9. Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, judicial officers, and team members.
10. Maintain high standards of professionalism and ethical conduct in accordance with the rules of professional conduct.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar and good standing.
3. Minimum 5+ years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
4. Proven experience in bad faith claims, personal injury cases, and federal laws.
5. Extensive courtroom and trial experience.
6. Excellent legal research, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
7. Ability to manage a high volume of cases and work in a fast-paced environment.
8. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks.
9. Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
10. Commitment to delivering high-quality legal services to clients.
11. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
12. High level of professionalism and adherence to strict confidentiality and ethical standards.
