If you are a dynamic, highly motivated litigation attorney with a passion for the legal industry, we have an exciting opportunity for you. We are seeking a Litigation Attorney to join our fast-paced, high-performing legal team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on challenging, complex cases, and to contribute to our continued success in providing superior legal services. You must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on construction litigation and handling complex cases. The ideal candidate will be a junior litigator with strong due diligence skills and a proven track record as a trial attorney.
Responsibilities
As a Litigation Attorney, your responsibilities will include:
1. Representing clients in complex litigation cases, including First Party Property and construction litigation.
2. Conducting thorough due diligence to ensure all relevant facts, laws, and precedents are considered in preparing cases.
3. Providing expert legal advice and guidance to clients, and effectively communicating complex legal concepts and strategies.
4. Preparing and drafting a range of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and agreements.
5. Collaborating with senior attorneys to develop litigation strategies and conduct trials.
6. Participating in all phases of litigation, from initiation through trial and appeal.
7. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends.
Qualifications
The successful candidate for the Litigation Attorney position will have:
1. A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar.
3. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a litigation attorney, with a focus on construction litigation.
4. Proven experience as a junior litigator and trial attorney.
5. Exceptional due diligence skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
6. Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate complex legal concepts.
8. A proactive, results-oriented approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
10. A commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards and to providing superior legal services.
