We are looking to add another Professional Engineer to our Tampa team who holds their PE in Florida. This person would be integrated into our construction/wastewater division of the business. Looking for an experienced Licensed Professional Engineer to join our Tampa-based team, focusing on wastewater engineering projects. This permanent role offers a challenging and rewarding work environment, where you will be responsible for designing and overseeing wastewater treatment systems, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, and conducting feasibility studies for proposed projects. You will also be involved in the development of innovative and sustainable wastewater solutions, contributing to our commitment to environmental stewardess and public health protection.

As a Licensed Professional Engineer, you will:

1. Lead the design and implementation of wastewater treatment systems, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
2. Conduct feasibility studies for proposed projects, evaluating technical and economic viability.
3. Supervise and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and design team members.
4. Collaborate with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
5. Develop innovative and sustainable wastewater solutions, contributing to our commitment to environmental stewardship.
6. Prepare and review engineering plans, designs, and specifications.
7. Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
8. Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
9. Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in wastewater engineering.

To be considered for this role, you will need:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering or a related field.
2. A valid Professional Engineer (PE) License.
3. A minimum of 3 years of experience in wastewater engineering, with a focus on the design and implementation of wastewater treatment systems.
4. Proficiency in using engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar.
5. Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal environmental regulations related to wastewater.
6. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative and sustainable wastewater solutions.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, project managers, and team members.
9. A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
