Job Details

Technical Proficiency in the following tasks:
  • Performs deeds and maps research
  • Performs field work for Telecomm projects
  • Performs Construction Staking
  • Performs field work for topographic maps and lot line adjustments
  • Utilize GIS data and aerial photography from various sources.
  • Calculate the location of property lines and easements from surveys and descriptions utilizing CAD software.
  • Writes legal descriptions for a variety of legal instruments.
  • Generates contour maps and alignments or staking points for construction surveys.
  • Draft ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys, Original and Retracement Surveys, Topographic Surveys, Easements and Exhibits
  • Stays abreast of new technology that can expand both current and future client bases.

Leadership and Communication
  • Maintaining a positive client interaction from contract negotiation to construction completion.
  • Ensure that coaching, mentoring, and performance-enhancing feedback of assigned team members are provided, particularly related to technical proficiency.
  • Provide a positive design leadership example to project teams and to the studio and office.
  • Listen and communicate effectively and professionally in a wide variety of settings inside and outside the firm (sub-consultants, conferences, networking events, Governmental Agencies)
  • Display willingness to make decisions; exhibit sound and accurate judgment; support and explain reasoning for decisions considering design intent; include appropriate people in decision-making process; make timely decisions
