Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lending Associate with a minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial lending to become an integral part of our dynamic team. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex and high-profile transactions, providing strategic legal advice to a diverse clientele, including leading financial institutions, private equity firms, and corporate borrowers.

Key Responsibilities:

Structure, negotiate, and close a wide variety of commercial lending transactions.
Provide comprehensive legal advice on matters related to secured and unsecured loan transactions, syndicated loans, asset-based lending, mezzanine financing, and leveraged finance.
Collaborate with partners and clients to develop innovative financing solutions.
Conduct due diligence, prepare and review transaction documents, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service and communication.
Contribute to business development efforts and the growth of the firm's lending practice.
Qualifications:

J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
Admitted to practice in the jurisdiction where the position is located.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial lending at a major law firm or in-house legal department, with a focus on complex financing transactions.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple transactions simultaneously and under tight deadlines.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Strong commitment to client service and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
