The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in advancing the Lawyers' initiatives within their practice groups. The primary focus will be on overseeing projects related to the development, administration, and enhancement of the program within the Global Practice Groups. Working closely with the Director, you'll collaborate with Lawyers to support their practice group projects and contribute to the refinement of practice management methodologies and best practices. This role necessitates seamless coordination with various departments such as IT, Learning and Development, Marketing, and others to bolster practice operations and align with business strategies.

Job Details

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with leadership and Lawyers to contribute to strategic business goals and departmental roadmap development.
Identify and prioritize opportunities to streamline operational processes and monitor progress.
Liaise with Directors, Lawyers, and other relevant teams to optimize efficiencies and alleviate workload pressures during technology implementation phases.
Oversee the preparation of materials for Lawyer meetings and presentations to firm leadership.
Cultivate a culture of knowledge sharing, ensuring attorneys and staff are well-informed about available resources.
Develop project requirements and governance documentation, including project plans, status reports, and change management strategies.
Undertake additional duties essential for supporting the firm's knowledge management objectives.
Qualifications:
Required:

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
Minimum of seven years of relevant project or practice management experience, preferably within a legal setting.
Demonstrated proficiency in managing complex projects with competing deadlines.
Ability to translate strategic goals into actionable plans and execute them effectively.
Experience leading project teams from conception to completion.
Proven initiative-taking ability, fostering a positive team environment, and building collaborative relationships.

Preferred:
Familiarity with law firm structures, practices, and terminology.
Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentation.
Knowledge of major technology tools commonly used in large law firms (e.g., NetDocuments, Lexis products, SharePoint).
Experience in internal or client-facing consulting roles.
