Job Details
Day to Day:
1. Assisting in the preparation, drafting, and review of legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, and motions.
2. Conducting legal research and compiling information in an organized manner.
3. Managing and organizing case files, documents, and information accurately and efficiently.
4. Assisting with litigation procedures, including the management of the discovery process, trial preparation, and e-filing of documents.
5. Coordinating and scheduling court dates, meetings, and appointments.
6. Ensuring all deadlines are met and keeping attorneys informed of upcoming deadlines.
7. Communicating professionally and effectively with clients, attorneys, court personnel, and other staff.
8. Maintaining a high level of confidentiality in all interactions.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar role in the legal industry.
2. Proficiency in legal document drafting, legal administration, and legal case management.
3. Experience with e-filing and litigation assistance.
4. Strong knowledge of legal documentation and legal terminology.
5. Excellent organizational skills with an ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
6. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal research software.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
