Job Details

Our company is seeking a Permanent Lead Superintendent with a proven track record in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in managing large-scale construction projects, with a focus on scheduling, quality control, and project schedule management. The candidate should also have familiarity with Procore or equivalent project management software. This position offers an excellent opportunity to take on a leadership role in our dynamic and fast-paced organization, where you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our construction projects from conception to completion.

Responsibilities

As a Permanent Lead Superintendent, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

1. Overseeing all stages of project life cycle, including planning, design, procurement, construction, and closeout.
2. Ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
3. Developing and managing detailed project schedules and work plans.
4. Using Procore or equivalent software to manage project tasks, track project performance, and manage project documentation.
5. Implementing and managing quality control procedures to ensure high standards are maintained across all projects.
6. Coordinating and directing construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
7. Meeting with clients, architects, and engineers to discuss design ideas and project requirements.
8. Ensuring safety regulations are adhered to at all times.
9. Resolving on-site issues and emergencies promptly and professionally.
10. Reporting project progress to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

1. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a superintendent or in a similar role in the construction industry.
2. Extensive knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, OSHA guidelines, and other regulatory requirements.
3. Proficiency in Procore or equivalent project management software.
4. Strong understanding of construction scheduling and quality control principles.
5. Excellent leadership and project management skills.
6. Ability to interpret and build according to drawings, specifications, and other documents.
7. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
8. Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
9. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
10. Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field is preferred.
