Lead Superintendent - Multi-Family

We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to join our team as a Superintendent in the Construction industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of construction projects, overseeing all operations from the initial design phase through to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising crews, managing budgets, ensuring safety standards, and coordinating schedules. This role requires a hands-on leader with a strong understanding of the electric, plumbing, and mechanical trades, as well as a proven track record in project management and cost control.

Responsibilities:

1. Overseeing all aspects of multi-family construction projects, including planning, coordination, and execution.
2. Managing on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.
3. Coordinating with project managers, architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure project goals are met.
4. Managing project budgets and contracts, including negotiating contract terms and managing change orders.
5. Implementing and maintaining quality control procedures to ensure construction projects meet or exceed customer expectations.
6. Ensuring all construction activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
7. Resolving any on-site issues or disputes in a timely and professional manner.
8. Providing regular project updates to stakeholders, including progress reports and forecasts.
9. Continually improving construction processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and quality.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a superintendent in the construction industry, with a focus on multi-family projects.
2. Proven experience in commercial construction, site management, budget management, and contract management.
3. A strong understanding of construction management principles and best practices.
4. Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams to achieve project goals.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve on-site issues quickly and effectively.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with project team members, stakeholders, and clients.
7. Proficient in construction software and technology, with the ability to use these tools to enhance project efficiency and quality.
8. A strong commitment to health and safety, with a proven track record of ensuring compliance on construction sites.
9. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is a plus.
10. Certifications in construction management, project management, or a related field are a plus.
