Lead QA Engineer

Our client is a Digital Marketing company based out of NYC and they are looking to add a new Lead QA Engineer to build out their testing environment.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Lead QA Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the testing of our cutting-edge technology products, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and user experience. Responsibilities:

• Lead the QA team in designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions, and ensuring the quality of our products.
• Develop and execute both automated and manual test cases to ensure product quality.
• Use your extensive knowledge of PHP to develop and implement testing strategies.
• Collaborate with product management and development teams to understand product vision and requirements.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies, and implement them as needed.
• Work closely with our digital marketing team to ensure the flawless execution of campaigns and initiatives.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement in the QA process through innovative ideas and strategies.
• Act as a mentor to junior team members, providing advice, guidance, and feedback.
• Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3+ years of work experience in a Lead QA Engineer role.
• Proven experience with both automated and manual testing.
• Strong knowledge of PHP, testing tools, and methodologies.
• Experience working in a startup environment is a plus.
• Understanding of digital marketing strategies and technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Passion for quality and customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Certification in Quality Assurance is a plus.
