Job Details:

We are seeking a highly skilled and driven Lead Commissioning Engineer to join our dynamic team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including data centers, mission-critical facilities, building design, higher education institutions, and healthcare facilities. The Lead Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of commissioning, from design and planning to execution and completion. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers opportunities for professional growth and development.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of commissioning projects, including planning, execution, and completion.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement commissioning plans.
• Ensure that all systems and components are designed, installed, tested, and operated according to the operational requirements of the client.
• Lead commissioning meetings and coordinate with various stakeholders, including engineers, contractors, and clients.
• Review and approve technical documentation, such as system design documents, test procedures, and operational manuals.
• Conduct on-site inspections and tests to ensure systems are functioning properly and safely.
• Identify and resolve any issues or problems that arise during the commissioning process.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the commissioning team.
• Prepare and present reports on commissioning activities and progress.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field or applicable years of experience
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in a commissioning role, preferably as a Commissioning Engineer or Commissioning Manager.
• Proven experience with the following or equivalent: CxA, Commissioning Authority, Commissioning Engineer, commissioning specialist, commissioning tech, commissioning, commissioning manager, commissioning leader, commissioning technician.
• Experience working on projects in the following areas: Data Center, Mission Critical, Building Design, Higher Education, Healthcare, Hospital.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in relevant software and technology.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred.
• Commissioning Authority Certification - preferred
