Job Details
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Landscape Maintenance Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape maintenance, horticulture, and team leadership. The Landscape Maintenance Lead will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating daily maintenance activities, ensuring the quality and efficiency of landscape services, and managing landscape maintenance workers. This position requires a hands-on approach, excellent communication skills, and a passion for creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and direct a crew of landscape maintenance professionals in daily operations.
2. Plan and execute landscape designs based on blueprints and client specifications.
3. Maintain the health and beauty of landscapes by scheduling and performing regular maintenance tasks such as mowing, pruning, fertilizing, and irrigation system checks.
4. Train and mentor team members in horticulture techniques and safety protocols.
5. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for the procurement of necessary materials and equipment.
6. Ensure all work is completed within the designated timeline and budget.
7. Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and management.
8. Implement and uphold company policies and standards.
9. Conduct regular inspections to ensure the quality of the landscaping work.
10. Respond to any issues or emergencies that may arise, providing solutions in a timely manner.
The ideal candidate for the Landscape Foreman position will have:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a landscape leadership role.
2. Extensive knowledge and experience in horticulture.
3. Proven experience as a Crew Lead in landscape maintenance.
4. Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
5. Strong knowledge of various landscaping techniques and the ability to train others.
6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
7. The ability to work in various weather conditions.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. A valid driver's license.
10. The ability to lift heavy equipment and materials.
