Job Details:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Land Surveyor to join our dynamic engineering team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional to apply their skills and knowledge in land surveying and civil engineering to a wide range of exciting projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting detailed ALTA, topographic, and boundary surveys, as well as creating comprehensive site plans for various construction projects.

Responsibilities:

As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for the following:

1. Conducting comprehensive land surveys, including ALTA surveys, topographic surveys, and boundary surveys, using advanced surveying equipment and techniques.
2. Collaborating closely with civil engineers and other professionals to create detailed site plans for construction projects.
3. Utilizing GIS and AutoCAD software to prepare and present detailed and accurate survey reports.
4. Ensuring all surveying activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
5. Assisting in the planning and execution of construction projects, providing expert advice on land use and physical layout.
6. Troubleshooting and resolving any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the surveying process.
7. Continually updating knowledge and skills in relation to the latest surveying technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate for the Permanent Land Surveyor position will possess the following qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
2. A minimum of three years of professional experience in land surveying, with a strong focus on ALTA surveys, topographic surveys, and boundary surveys.
3. Proficient in the use of GIS and AutoCAD software, with a strong understanding of their application in land surveying.
4. Comprehensive knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices, particularly as they relate to construction project planning and execution.
5. Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to produce accurate and comprehensive survey reports.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the surveying process.
7. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a dynamic engineering team.
8. A valid professional land surveyor's license is preferred.
