We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Land Surveyor to join our dynamic team in the Engineering industry. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a strong background in land surveying, ALTA/ACSM, and boundary analysis to contribute to our ongoing projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting field surveys, preparing sketches and notes, and delivering final plats and maps. This role requires an individual with a keen eye for detail, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of land surveying principles and techniques.

Responsibilities

1. Conduct comprehensive field surveys using a variety of specialized equipment and technology.
2. Prepare detailed sketches, maps, and reports based on survey data.
3. Perform ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys in accordance with applicable standards and regulations.
4. Conduct boundary analysis and resolve complex boundary issues using legal descriptions, survey records, and land titles.
5. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction professionals to ensure accurate layout and utilization of properties.
6. Monitor project progress, ensuring all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest possible standard.
7. Maintain accurate records, survey data, and documentation for future reference and legal purposes.
8. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, techniques, and technologies to continually improve surveying processes and results.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in land surveying, with a focus on ALTA/ACSM and boundary analysis.
3. Proficient in the use of modern surveying equipment, including GPS and GIS technology.
4. Strong understanding of land surveying principles, boundary laws, and platting.
5. Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
7. Ability to work in various weather conditions and on different terrains.
8. Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license or the ability to obtain one within a specified timeframe.
9. Proficient in computer software, including AutoCAD, MicroStation, and other mapping or drafting software.
10. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
