Is your background a fit? Apply if you meet this criterion:
AA or BS in Construction Management or similar plus:

• 10+ Years of Field Land Surveyor experience
• 5+ years of Survey Project Management experience
• PLS (Professional Land Surveyor) Licensed in California

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee diverse surveying tasks related to land development and infrastructure projects, including Boundary Surveys, Topographical Surveys, Right of Way Surveys, Laser Scanning, Legal Descriptions, Control Networks, Aerial Mapping, Construction Staking, As-built Surveys, GIS services, and more.
• Evaluate project needs, propose effective strategies, and ensure project deliverables meet requirements.
• Review and manage proposals, quotes, budgets, and invoices.
• Support HR-led performance reviews and staffing for Survey Team positions.
• Provide leadership in safety procedures for both field and office settings.
• Contribute ideas to enhance team efficiency and project quality.
• Participate in company-wide initiatives for sales, profitability, quality, and safety.
• Supervise and quality-check survey deliverables and calculations.
• Carry out additional management duties as necessary.

Supervisory-specific Responsibilities:

• Supervise 3 direct employees and indirectly oversee 22 employees in the Survey department.
• Fulfill supervisory responsibilities following organizational policies and laws.
• Tasks include hiring, training, task assignment, performance assessment, conflict resolution, and more.
