Job Details:
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Labor & Employment Associate to join our thriving Legal team. This is a unique opportunity to work on a wide variety of complex labor and employment matters, including class action suits and labor actions. Our ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced and challenging environment, has a passion for labor and employment law, and is eager to make a significant impact in a top-tier legal firm. This role requires a minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice and guidance on a wide range of labor and employment issues, such as wage and hour disputes, workplace discrimination, and labor relations.
• Represent clients in labor and employment litigation, including class action suits and labor actions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate employment agreements, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal memorandums, briefs, motions, and other court documents.
• Advise clients on compliance with federal, state, and local labor and employment laws and regulations.
• Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations.
• Develop and present training on labor and employment law topics for clients and colleagues.
• Collaborate with other members of the legal team to ensure the highest level of client service.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar.
• A minimum of 2+ years of labor and employment litigation experience, including class action and labor actions.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local labor and employment laws and regulations.
• Excellent legal writing and research skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and adjust to changing priorities in a professional manner.
• Strong advocacy, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• High level of professionalism and outstanding business judgment.
• Strong commitment to client service and demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Proficiency in using legal research software.
