Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Labor and Employment Associate Attorney, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Representing clients in labor and employment matters, including litigation, arbitration, mediation, collective bargaining negotiations, and administrative hearings.
2. Providing legal advice to clients on a wide range of labor and employment issues, such as wage and hour disputes, wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, employee benefits, and labor relations.
3. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating employment contracts, separation agreements, non-compete agreements, and other employment-related documents.
4. Conducting thorough legal research and analysis to provide informed legal advice and strategies to clients.
5. Keeping abreast of the latest developments in labor and employment law, particularly within the Florida jurisdiction.
6. Collaborating with other attorneys and legal professionals in the firm to ensure the best representation for our clients.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Labor and Employment Attorney.
3. Membership in good standing with the Florida State Bar.
4. Extensive knowledge of labor and employment law, with a strong understanding of Florida state law.
5. Proven experience in litigation and dispute resolution, with a strong track record of success.
6. Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to effectively represent clients in a variety of settings.
7. Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and apply complex laws and regulations.
8. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively convey complex legal information to clients and other stakeholders.
9. A strong commitment to ethical legal practice and adherence to professional responsibility rules.
10. The ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing a large workload and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
