Job Details:

We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and passionate Labor and Employment Associate Attorney to join our team. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of our labor and employment law practice, offering expertise and guidance to clients. This is a permanent, full-time position, offering competitive compensation and benefits. The candidate will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment, dealing with a wide range of labor and employment law matters.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide comprehensive legal advice and guidance to clients on labor and employment law matters, including but not limited to, employment contracts, workplace policies, discrimination claims, wage and hour disputes, worker's compensation, and labor relations.
2. Represent clients in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.
3. Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents, such as contracts, pleadings, briefs, and appeals.
4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering exceptional service and ensuring their legal needs are met and exceeded.
5. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in labor and employment law in both Kentucky and Ohio.
6. Collaborate with a team of attorneys and paralegals, sharing knowledge and expertise.
7. Participate in business development activities, such as networking events and seminars, to promote the firm and attract new clients.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the State Bar in Ohio.
3. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Labor and Employment Attorney.
4. Proven track record of successfully representing clients in labor and employment law matters.
5. Excellent legal research and writing skills.
6. Exceptional negotiation and advocacy skills.
7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
9. High level of professional ethics and integrity.
10. Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
11. A deep understanding of the labor laws and employment practices in Kentucky and Ohio.
12. A commitment to providing exceptional service to clients.
