Job Details:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team in the engineering industry. This is a permanent role that will require you to apply your expertise in electrical systems and automation. The successful candidate will have a strong background in ABB, Rockwell, Controls, Automation, Robotics, PLC, and STAMP DRAWINGS. You will also have a solid understanding of blueprints, PVC coated rigid conduit systems, and be adept at performing routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems. Your role will involve installing various types of raceway and cable tray systems and troubleshooting, testing, repairing and servicing technical equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
• Read technical diagrams and blueprints.
• Perform general electrical maintenance.
• Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
• Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
• Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
• Circuit breaker corrective maintenance.
• Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring or equipment.
• Work on the installation of various types of raceway and cable tray systems.
• Use ABB, Rockwell, Controls, Automation, Robotics, and PLC to optimize electrical systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and repair on electrical wiring and systems.
• Troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Electrician.
• Experience with ABB, Rockwell, Controls, Automation, Robotics, PLC, and STAMP DRAWINGS.
• Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints.
• Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
• Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight.
• Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician.
• Valid license to practice the profession.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Proven experience with PVC coated rigid conduit systems.
• Proficiency in installing various types of raceway and cable tray systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment.
