We are seeking a dedicated, solutions-oriented IT Support Consultant to join our team in the medical industry. This role involves providing technical support and expertise to our healthcare staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems. You will be the go-to person for all things technical, from setting up systems and IT equipment to managing delivery and pick-up of user equipment. With your skills and experience, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our IT infrastructure and helping our healthcare professionals provide the best possible care to our patients.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide first-level contact and problem resolution for all users with hardware, software and applications problems.
2. Set up systems and IT equipment, ensuring they are properly installed and functioning optimally.
3. Manage delivery and pick-up of user equipment, ensuring timely and efficient service.
4. Coordinate inventory for distributed and returned hardware, including laptops, docking stations, monitors, and other equipment.
5. Resolve user-reported problems using available tools and following procedures and policies for the handling of support cases.
6. Conduct timely repair of IT equipment identified as faulty or requiring scheduled maintenance.
7. Provide timely, accurate, and detailed follow-up on all received incidents, ensuring user satisfaction.
8. Contribute to the development and implementation of IT policies and best practices within the organization.
9. Maintain an active understanding of latest trends in IT support and technology to drive continuous improvement and high levels of efficiency.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in an IT support role.
2. Proven experience with Windows 10, system setup, and hardware management.
3. Exceptional technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
4. Excellent understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.
5. Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
6. Exceptional customer service orientation.
7. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex IT concepts in simple terms.
8. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
9. Experience in the medical industry is a plus.
