Job Details:
We are seeking an innovative, experienced, and forward-thinking Permanent IT Director to join our dynamic team in the technology industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the company's IT department and for ensuring that our company's technology systems are reliable, up-to-date, and meet the needs of our growing company. They will be a strategic leader who can work on multiple projects simultaneously and effectively manage a global team. This role will require a strong understanding of IT budget management, information security, and team management.

Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement IT policy and best practice guides for the organization.
2. Design, develop and implement IT budgets, overseeing the purchase of IT equipment and software, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value for money.
3. Conduct regular system audits and software performance reviews to detect and rectify problems.
4. Oversee and manage all IT-related projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
5. Implement and manage security systems to protect the company's data and information.
6. Develop and implement disaster recovery protocols to safeguard digital files and vital electronic infrastructure.
7. Manage and coordinate the work of the global IT team, providing guidance, training, and support.
8. Stay up-to-date with the latest technology and trends, ensuring the company's technology is always at the forefront.
9. Establish strong relationships with IT vendors and service providers.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management, with a focus on strategy, implementation, and service delivery.
3. Proven experience managing IT budgets and IT project management.
4. Knowledge of IT infrastructure, including data centers, networks, and cloud computing.
5. Strong understanding of information security protocols and protection.
6. Experience in managing and leading global teams, with excellent leadership and team management skills.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex IT issues.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex IT concepts in simple terms.
9. Up-to-date knowledge of the latest IT and software trends.
10. Strong customer service mindset, with the ability to prioritize the needs of the company and its employees.
11. Ability to handle high-stress situations and tight deadlines.
12. Professional IT certification, such as Microsoft Certified: IT Professional (MCITP) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), is a plus.
