The Irrigation and Night Lighting Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of irrigation operations within the organization. This includes managing the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems, as well as ensuring the efficient use of water resources. The Irrigation Manager will also collaborate with other departments to develop and implement irrigation strategies that align with sustainability goals.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems across multiple locations.
• Develop and implement irrigation strategies to optimize water usage and ensure sustainability.
• Monitor irrigation schedules and adjust as necessary to meet the needs of different plant species and weather conditions.
• Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify and troubleshoot issues.
• Coordinate with landscaping and horticulture teams to ensure irrigation systems are properly supporting the health and growth of plants.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of irrigation technology and industry best practices.
• Train and supervise a team of irrigation technicians, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of irrigation activities, including system repairs, water consumption, and equipment inventory.
• Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement water conservation initiatives.
• Stay up to date with advancements in irrigation technology and recommend improvements or upgrades as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in irrigation management or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, including design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with various irrigation methods, such as drip irrigation, sprinkler systems, and automated controls.
• Proficient in water resource management and water conservation practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to lead and supervise a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in record-keeping.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and codes related to irrigation systems is a plus.
