Our firm is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and dedicated Insurance Defense Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and hardworking individual who thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. This position involves representing our clients in various insurance defense matters, including litigation, insurance coverage disputes, insurance fraud cases, and more. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on exciting, high-profile cases and will play a crucial role in shaping the outcomes for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Actively manage and oversee all aspects of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motions, and trials.
• Provide legal representation to our clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Analyze and interpret insurance policies to determine coverage and identify potential issues.
• Conduct thorough legal research to support defense strategies and advise clients on potential legal risks.
• Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients and advise them on the legal implications of accepting settlement offers.
• Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure the successful resolution of cases.
• Stay updated on current laws, regulations, and industry trends related to insurance defense.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Must be a member in good standing with the state bar.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance defense, litigation, and trial practice.
• Proven experience in insurance coverage, insurance fraud, and civil litigation.
• Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
• Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, judges, and opposing counsel.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills, capable of handling multiple cases simultaneously.
• Proficiency in using legal research software and other relevant computer applications.
• A self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• High ethical standards and professional integrity.
