Insurance Defense Attorney

We are seeking an experienced Permanent Insurance Defense Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a challenging and rewarding role, where you will be responsible for representing insurance companies and their insureds in all stages of litigation. The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil litigation and employers' liability, and a passion for delivering exceptional legal services. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the legal industry.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Insurance Defense Attorney, you will:

1. Manage a caseload of complex insurance and employers’ liability defense files according to client requirements.
2. Conduct legal research to support defense strategies.
3. Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, reports, and other legal documents.
4. Represent clients in court and before quasi-judicial or administrative agencies of government.
5. Conduct and defend depositions and examinations under oath.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
3. A minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance defense litigation, specifically in civil litigation and employers' liability.
4. Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients, attorneys, and staff.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
