We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Attorney to join our legal team. As a Permanent Associate Attorney, you will be responsible for handling defense litigation cases, personal injury cases, and civil lawsuits. You must be admitted to practice law in New York and have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the legal industry.

Responsibilities:

• Handle defense litigation cases, personal injury cases, and civil lawsuits
• Conduct legal research and analyze cases to determine the best course of action
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Attend depositions, hearings, and trials
• Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other attorneys
• Negotiate settlements and plea bargains on behalf of clients
• Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to achieve successful outcomes for clients
• Manage a caseload and meet deadlines

Qualifications:

• Admitted to practice law in New York
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in defense litigation, personal injury, and civil lawsuits
• Trial experience is a plus but not required
• Ability to manage a caseload and meet deadlines
• Strong negotiation and advocacy skills
• Proficient in legal research and writing
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure
