Job Details:
We are seeking a dynamic, passionate, and dedicated Associate Attorney to join our team. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in insurance defense, civil litigation, and trucking defense. The Associate Attorney will work closely with our team to provide comprehensive legal services to our clients. This includes researching, drafting legal documents, attending court proceedings, and providing legal advice.

Responsibilities:
The Associate Attorney will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including but not limited to:

1. Defending insurance companies in civil litigation cases, with a focus on trucking defense.
2. Conducting thorough legal research and analysis to support defense strategies.
3. Drafting and reviewing legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and responses.
4. Representing clients in court proceedings, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.
5. Providing legal advice to clients on insurance defense matters.
6. Collaborating with legal teams to develop defense strategies and ensure client satisfaction.
7. Staying informed of the latest developments and changes in insurance defense law.
8. Managing a caseload from inception through trial preparation.
9. Regularly communicating with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Associate Attorney position will possess the following qualifications:

1. Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar.
3. A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Insurance Defense Attorney, Civil Litigation Attorney, or Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney, with a focus on trucking defense.
4. Extensive knowledge of civil litigation procedures and insurance defense law.
5. Exceptional research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
7. Ability to manage a large caseload and work under pressure.
8. Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
9. High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
11. Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
