We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Instructional System Designer to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to our team as it involves the creation and development of engaging, innovative, and effective learning solutions for our technical staff. The successful candidate will have a strong background in instructional design and a passion for creating educational courses that inspire and motivate learners. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our company's success by enhancing the skills and knowledge of our team and ensuring our learning systems are top-notch.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with subject matter experts and team leaders to identify target audience's training needs and gaps in their knowledge.
2. Use instructional design theories and practice to create learning experiences that meet the needs of a diverse audience.
3. Apply tested instructional design theories, practice and methods to create learning activities that are engaging, activity-based and results-oriented.
4. Design and develop instructional materials for technical training programs that include manuals, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials.
5. Develop assessment tools that measure the effectiveness of instructional programs and learner progress.
6. Use Articulate and other authoring tools to design and develop interactive and engaging e-learning modules.
7. Maintain project documentation and course folders during the project lifecycle.
8. Incorporate feedback and make necessary revisions to training materials.
9. Stay up-to-date with latest trends and technologies in instructional design and learning methodologies.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in instructional design, preferably in the Engineering industry.
3. Proficient in Articulate, Content Writing, Learning Management Systems, and learning system design.
4. Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models.
5. Strong writing and communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, concise manner.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
7. Strong attention to detail and exceptional problem-solving skills.
8. Experience with graphic design, video editing, and animation is a plus.
9. Proven ability to manage projects, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
10. Familiarity with engineering concepts and terminology is a plus.
