Job Details:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Contract-to-Hire Information Security Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role will be pivotal in protecting our organization's information systems and networks from threats, ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our data. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the cyber threat landscape and a passion for staying ahead of potential threats. This role requires a proactive individual who can anticipate, prevent, identify, and solve complex security problems.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential threats and weaknesses in our systems and networks.
2. Manage and maintain our VPN, firewall, and other network security systems to ensure the highest level of security and privacy for our data.
3. Implement and manage threat detection tools such as O365, Crowdstrike, Rapid7, Meraki, and Umbrella.
4. Develop and enforce security policies and procedures in line with industry best practices.
5. Respond to security incidents, conduct thorough investigations, and provide detailed reports on findings and recommendations.
6. Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to ensure the integration of secure practices across all operations.
7. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field of information security and participate in continuous professional development activities.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an information security role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience with VPN, Penetration Testing, O365, Crowdstrike, Rapid7, Meraki, Umbrella, network security, firewall, anti-virus, and vulnerability management.
4. Strong knowledge of current security risks, protocols, and prevention methods.
5. Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data and systems to identify potential threats and develop effective solutions.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
8. Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ will be an advantage.
